Had this idea...threw this together quickly. This might be a blatant ripoff of those 'don't look directly at the laser' signs. I might modify this to look more 'industrial' by using something other than a gradient fill..

No, just a take on the "Don't look at the laser" warning signs in industrial areas.

If you make this a print, I would SERIOUSLY consider buying it. Like 99.99% chance of buying it.

Hello! I would love to make this a print for you, but there is a clause in the Print Agreement that states, "You may only submit Artwork for inclusion in the Print Program if you are the sole author of the Artwork and you hold all intellectual property rights in the Artwork." Since I don't own MLP:FiM, I don't want to try to sell this. I have however just uploaded a larger .png that should be suitable to print on 8.5x11 paper or larger. If you can find another method to print this, feel free.

Fair enough.

I was aware of this clause, but from what I've seen, it's not really enforced very strictly with MLP fan art; and if they do enforce it, it only results in the inability to create prints with that work. Since a dA employee reviews EVERY work for which a print is ordered, it seems like they're pretty lax with this one.

Also, even if it was enforced strictly, I'm not sure a pony silhouette or your stylized Sonic Rainboom would be subject to copyright, and I'm 99% certain that the phrase "Sonic Rainboom" is not trademarked. So it looks like fair use to me. Just a few things to keep in mind if you ever do consider selling any of your fan art :)

Still, the bigger PNG is still a great alternative, and it's greatly appreciated! This will find its way next to my RD toy as soon as I can find some suitable paper to print it onto :D

Hmm...well, you've convinced me to give this print thing a shot. I've submitted it, and I think I've set it up so that the margins won't get cropped off. We'll see if it gets approved.

Awesome!

The FAQ about fan art is here, in case you want to read it to verify the stuff I was saying about what happens if you try to sell a print with fan art: FAQ #743: Can I sell fan art as prints? . According to this page, like I said, all you really seem to be risking is a possible rejection. (Just doing this because I hate feeling like I'm forcing people to do things, so I want you to be as informed as possible :))

I should be ordering once I figure out my new mailing address, which should be in the next couple of days!

You must frame it in your shrine of internets.
